

On Being A Spinster
As seen from my website and my facebook pages and my intermittent blog posts, I've got a created bent to me. I didn't realize I was a crafty person for so many years. I didn't. But I was. I always made things with my hands. Yet, I didn't think I was creative. It is amazing how one perceives oneself. As a teenager I made a quilt from scratch, hand stitched the entire thing. Faerie Fabrications
Say what? What's this you say? Well, I've been weaving about 2 years now and it's been amazing adventure in patience and brain work. I could do this for the rest of my life and still learn. I've been focused on working with cotton and I've played with a bit of bamboo and chenille. Not a lot of wool ... its' a textural thing. Some wool I find itchy so I personally don't like handling it. Creative and busy and happy
I really need a laptop. I have so much going on ... I have so many things I'm doing. I've been making soap, teaching my son to make soap, making lists ... creating new nail polish colors. Weaving. Yes, weaving. I think I may start listing my weaving creations either here or on Etsy to help pay for my classes and my yarn addiction.
